New features in 2024
Brokerage, multi-division, and digital signatures
- Truckbase can now generate key documents for your asset or brokerage division (e.g., Rate Confirmations, Bills of Lading). And, drivers can collect digital signatures on BOLs.
- Multi-division: carriers with multiple divisions (e.g., asset and brokerage, multiple MCs) can now bill separately and generate separate reporting for each division. This includes the option for multiple Quickbooks connections for each division.
Tracking in and out times
- In and out times now tracked for each stop. Those times can also be shared with customers/brokers, either via automatic emails or the customer portal.
Reporting enhancements

Custom load tags
- Carriers can now add custom tags to loads to improve planning and filter/search for loads of a certain type (e.g., inbound vs. outbound, hold, priority, etc.).
Empty miles
- Added the ability to auto-calculate and/or override empty & loaded miles on each load.
Apple and Android driver apps
- Apps released for Apple app store and Google Play app store for driver dispatch + improved document scanning.
Driver/dispatch notes
- Dispatchers & drivers can now leave comments on loads with appropriate visibility (e.g., dispatch-team only vs. dispatchers & drivers).
Planning and calendar module
- Updated the calendar to optimize load planning.
- You can now plan weekly or daily, filter by load type and driver, and quickly dispatch drivers all from the new and improved calendar.
Factoring integrations
- We have direct integrations with RTS, Triumph, Apex, and eCapital to send invoices and load packets.
- For other factoring companies, we support exporting a factoring schedule/packet. And, more integrations are available upon request.
Driver and equipment file
- Essential driver and equipment documentation can now be stored in Truckbase, and dispatchers can be optionally notified when booking a load for drivers/trucks with expired (or close to expiring) documents
Availability map with live tracking of all trucks
- Carriers can now view a map with all trucks, trailers, and drivers visible based on current stop, last stop, and upcoming stop.
- With ELD integrations, this map will show all drivers’ realtime locations + the load they’re on.
Dispatch warnings/dispatch helper
- Warning you of duplicate orders, incorrect dates, driver files that are expired or about to expire, and more!
LTL/partial loads
- LTL carriers are now supported with a dedicated module for partial/consolidated freight.
Custom dispatch boards
- Dispatchers and admins are now able to save custom views based on any tracked filters.
- For example, a dispatcher can have a custom view for their booked loads, to be picked up today, that are marked as either priority or expedited. The billing team can have a custom list of all orders that are delivered and ready for invoicing. And, more!

Driver time off
- Driver time off can be blocked, and dispatchers will be notified if they try to book a load with a driver who is out
Truck out of service
- Trucks can also be blocked when under maintenance/unavailable. Dispatchers will be notified if they try to book a load with an unavailable unit
Fuel surcharge percentage of linehaul billing
- Fuel surcharge can be calculated as a percentage of the linehaul rate
HoS
- Adding realtime Hours of Service visibility from integrated ELDs to track drivers’ used and available hours while planning + dispatching drivers.
BorderConnect
- BorderConnect integration to auto-generate manifests for border crossing.
Rate tables
- Our new custom Rate Tables will allow saving flexible per-customer rates and contract billing
Load level profitability and expense tracking
- Simplify expense submission from dispatch, drivers, or operations to see load-level profits and deduct/reimburse expenses on driver settlements as needed.
